14 Month Refrigerator - Locked Rotor on Compressor

Unit was purchased 10/07/21. Refrigerator stopped working 12/27/22. Service technician indicated the rotor on the compressor is seized. Technician mentions it has seen this issue with this particular brand. "It just goes bad after a while" were the technicians exact words. I have made several attempts through the chat, the customer service line and email, with trying to have some type of reimbursement of some sort. The unit is just a month out of warranty and it doesn't work. Here I am as a consumer, spent $800-$900 on a brand new unit and I have to purchase another one just over a year of ownership. And no one is willing to provide any support or reimbursement. These units should not fail in this short of a time.

So frustrated by this. Just shows the high confidence in their own products to offer a whopping 1 year manufacturers warranty. These new products are just junk. The fridge began making terrible noises and stopped working at the 2 yr mark. These products are not purchased to be replaced every couple of years.

I chose balck because it's my favorite color! I was like a kid on Christmas morning when I saw it for the first time. I love the door shelves and how they don't allow things to fall through. For a smaller fridge it feels big and roomie on the inside. My food is cold cold. I am very pleased with this fridge.

This refrigerator is perfect for our basement. Just enough freezer space because we didn't add the optional icemaker and the main compartment is perfect for all those extra drinks and leftovers. I agree with others that a butter holder and egg holder would have been nice, but really not needed.

Having to replace after 2 years

After replacing the start relay and capacitor trying to diagnose the problem, it turns out the compressor has died. Two years old. I've never had a fridge compressor die after two years. The cost to replace a compressor is almost the price of a new fridge so now we have to go buy a new one. I'll never buy another frigidaire again. There's a reason the manufacturer warranty is only a year.

Quit Working After 9 Months

Unit worked great for 9 months. Frigidaire customer service for the 1 year warranty it comes with is a joke. On the phone for 40 min to get a service scheduled, 3 phone calls later, I finally got a lady that I could understand. She was very nice and apologetic. The fridge is currently scheduled to be worked on Oct 19th. Almost a month after it went out.

Terrible refrigerator, worst customer service

First I bought this refrigerator a year a half ago, and problems started immediately. But, I waited, until the refrigerator stopped getting cold, and spoiled/ruined all of my food, before I called the Techs to come out. On my dime of course: $143. On the day of my appointment, no one showed up. I waited 9 hours. Customer service didn't care and advised me that the appointment had been rescheduled for the next day, without my knowledge. I get apologies, but no one fixes anything. Then i read online that this happens all of the time. Lemon.

Performs Extremely Well as Garage Fridge in Summertime Florida

My indoor fridge failed and two weeks later my outdoor fridge failed. The outdoor fridge was a pass me down gift from a neighbor that struggled to maintain the proper temperatures, partially due to the fact that the doors didn™€™t seem to seal completely. Our new Frigidaire seals extremely tight and has no problem maintaining the proper temperatures. I actually had to back down both the freezer and refrigerator temperatures. Ordered black due to having black seals as lighter colored seals get a little nasty looking over time when used in a non-temperature controlled environment.
