Wipe away cleaning time with the induction cooktop

Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler to the touch, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook.

Image Feature

Get amazingly fast results with Induction

With induction, heat transfers directly to the cookware and not the cooktop surface, making induction incredibly fast.

Image Feature

Avoid over and undercooking your food with TempLock™

Sensors in the cooktop automatically adjust the power level to maintain a consistent temperature the entire time you cook - it's like cruise control for your cooktop.

Image Feature

Maximize cooktop space with the Convenient Bridge Element

Connects two elements to create a larger cooking surface, perfect for a griddle or large pan.

Image Feature

Even Heat delivers consistent results

Induction delivers steady, even heat across the surface of your pan so you get consistent results every time.

Image Feature

Incredibly Responsive and Precise

More responsive than gas and more precise than electric, induction goes from a low simmer to a powerful boil, almost immediately.

Induction Cooktop Converts

mdf1250 5/25/2023

We had a lot of anxiety about changing the way we cooked. My partner and I both enjoy cooking but in more than 80 years (combined) neither of us had ever cooked with electricity, let alone induction. But we were determined not to let our lack of familiarity stop us. We knew going induction was the right move to make. Our local appliance store recommend Frigidaire and so we bought the 30™€ model. Installation was quick and easy. It didn™€™t take us long to become familiar with the controls, and appreciating its good looks and ease of maintenance was immediate! Now we™€™re hooked and not looking back

Great upgrade

Breckinridge 5/19/2023

Initially was going to upgrade my 30amp cooktop to gas. However, with all the concern looked at induction. Most require 40amp which would have meant spending hundreds of dollars upgrading electrical. So glad this one did not require that. We have gas at our other property and I now prefer induction. Much quicker, easier to clean and cooks amazing. Highly recommend.

Impossible to get replacement parts

V2v2 5/13/2023

The cooktop itself is fine, but I've been waiting 8 months for replacement glass top and trim. I just learned it will be at least another 2 months, so total of at least 10 months, before part is available. Purchased unit less than a year ago.

Defective product

Cyn2023 5/10/2023

Had this installed by the retailer a month ago. Burners do not heat evenly even though I bought a new set of pans that are induction ready (Cuisinart Multiclad Pro). Called retailer who told me it was impossible for the coils not to heat evenly. He told me to give it some time to get used to induction. I waited a few weeks and was still finding food was cooking unevenly (one half burning/other half raw). Called retailer who sent a technician to check. Tech took the cooktop apart and found coils were not in the right places. He fixed the coils and now the cooktop doesn't work at all. He said I need a part that's back-ordered with no ETA. So I'm unable to cook indefinitely. Called Frigidaire and they are looking into it??

Roger86 5/7/2023

We can now boil anything so quick it's hard to believe. Poaching eggs in milk is so much easier now. The touch controls are pure genius. We measured the opening of our old electric stove top before ordering our new Frigidaire induction stove top and installed it ourselves. Very easy if you follow the instructions. Also cleaning the stove top is so very easy.

Sleek ,Clean, Cool

Cool Hawaiian cook 5/5/2023

Our new cook top makes our whole kitchen look sleek and clean. But the real reason I love this cook top is that I can cook with the overhead fan on and not worry about blowing the gas flame sideways as I did with our previous gas stove. I can cook without my chest heating up from the flame of our last cook top, or worry about something catching fire near the stove. I know the heat is evenly spaced under the bottom of the pan instead of having to keep turning the pot around to even out the the hot spots that our gas burners created. All this is important for cooking during our hot Hawaiian summers. My husband is the primary cook in the family and I knew he needed some solid reasons to get rid of his beloved gas cook top, which I hated (See above). A huge fire in our outdoor gas grill gave me a reason to ask him to consider an induction cook top which I had been reading about for years. The complete control the cook has over the cooking temperature is the best feature that won him over. I can heat water for coffee in 15 seconds, not even enough time to turn around and back. I can start very high (P) to get a pan hot, then immediately turn to very low to continue the best temperature for the food. (I remember waiting longer for the pasta water to boil than it took to actually cook the pasta! Not now.) The manual for the Frigidaire cook top has a chart which I copied and hung on the wall. It is very helpful in translating the exact numbers of this cook top into the vague words found on other stove dials. I don't heat my coffee water in the microwave any more. I just keep a sauce pan on the stove to heat my water and remind me that the beautiful black countertop under the pan is an actual stove, not a decoration! It doesn't hurt to know that these cook tops are energy saving too. Which is why I didn't feel guilty leaving a pot of stew cooking for hours. I'm not much for keeping things clean, but I did enjoy wiping up spills, shining up the black sleek glass top even up to the very edge of my pot of stew bubbling on the stove. One of the drawbacks of induction cooking is the requirement that the cookware is magnetic. You'd be surprised at the beautiful pots I found at the Salvation Army. I already had iron skillets, but I was used to frying with non-stick cookware. I found a great non-stick frying pan at a discount store (Ross) for hardly anything. I even had an iron wok hiding in my cabinet that I didn't even know about. It's easy to find induction cookware in sets, but I didn't want a whole set. Iron containing pots are pretty easy to come by. Just get used to carrying a magnet with you when you're out browsing around. I have one suggestion for new users who had coils or burner supports on their previous stoves. Hang on to the pot you are stirring or your pot will slide off the cooking surface. But don't worry, nothing will happen. It will just surprise you!Yes, I can say I do like the cook top A LOT. I will be cooking much more frequently than I did when that awful gas cook top was here.

Muzishn 4/13/2023

Love the idea of induction cooking! Only complain I have was with the installation and instructions. There were none in the box. So I had to do a google search for a users manual to figure out how to use my new cooktop. There are a lot of cool (and confusing) features I will need to learn. Love the griddle option! They also send you a small bottle of cleaning fluid and a cloth. Cooktop is very thin and I now have soooo much more room under my cooktop.

Induction cooktop

Cooktop arrives and we removed it from the box. We lifted it to the cut out area of the counter where the original gas cooktop had been removed. Since we'd never done this before we expected some hardware to secure this new induction cooktop. But no! Specifications information online gave us the range the cutout needed to be. And the top just fit perfectly! The tabs to secure the top inplace keep it from moving and its tight. The electrician wired it in and it works great. I can boil water in a large pot within 3 minutes and keep things warm without the sticking to the bottom. Love, love love this new technology and the cooking I can do with it

Excellent induction cooktop layout

Alec2023 3/19/2023

This is our first induction cooktop and we've had it for 2.5 weeks now, and love it. The layout is excellent: It has two large burners that can easily fit large sauce pan and large pot next two each other (making easy to cook, for example spaghetti sauce and noodles), in addition to having the smaller burners (for perhaps steaming vegetables) or sauteing something, all at the same time -- which I have done. I cook meals much faster now than ever. And, as with all induction cooktops, it's been so much easier to clean than non-induction cooktops. While the touchpad cooking level selector is intuitive to use, it's somewhat cumbersome to get to the right setting quickly, as it doesn't always sense one's sliding finger motion nor does not it always immediately sense one's light tapping motion (especially if your hands have any type of moisture on them). For me, I prefer just having an up and down arrow with a number rating. When one removes the pan from the cooktop, the burner turns of only several seconds later. I wish there were a way to extend how it longs before it turns off automatically.
