Bought this a couple of weeks ago and it spins in but never clicks like the old one. It does filter the water but ever since installing the dispenser randomly exhibits slow continual dripping and sometimes has an uneven flow. Removing and reinstalling doesnt help and it definitely never clicks even with very firm pressure. But the water is clean particularly for the ice so maybe the next filter will make the water dispenser in the door work like it used to.

We bought our frig last year we change the filter out the first couple of times it worked perfectly we changed it out again and the filter which is the correct one keeps popping off and water goes all over the place we have been constantly cleaning the water from the frig as well as the floor.

This filter is awful It gives the water a terrible chemical taste. No one in my family will drink it and Im constantly buying water bottles and jugs. I purchased this refrigerator 8 months ago specifically for the filtered water and ice. This is the second filter with this problem. I am beyond disappointed.

got it to fit eventually

I have used off brand and LG filters the last off brand didnt fit so I came here to order these. Tried to install today didnt fit so I compared to the last one thst fit and decided to cut the tabs a bit. Others here show photos of the difference in the tabs. My photo here shows what worked to make it fit for me. Used blade knife to cut off the bottom right corners of both tabs. Still took some effort to install but got it in Please improve/restore the design LG
